Sandy Phaylim was last seen at his Hilo home at 6:15 a.m. Monday. He has medical conditions that require medication, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
Phaylim is described as 5-foot-11, weighing 250 pounds, and having brown eyes and black-and-white hair. He has several tattoos: a leaf on his upper left arm, the words “PEACE” and “LOVE” on his lower arm, the word “JOB” on his right thigh and the word “CORB” on his left thigh. He was last seen wearing a fluorescent green dry fit T-shirt and multicolor shorts. He was wearing no shoes and walks with a slight limp, police said.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
