Geronimo Marzan
Geronimo Itliong Marzan, 82, of Pepeekeo died Nov. 20, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Sept. 30, 1932, in Pangasinan, Philippines, he was a scale house operator for Hilo Coast Processing Company and a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Hilo Congregation.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Dec. 4 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for an 11 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn. Cremation will follow at Dodo Mortuary.
He is survived by wife, Felicidad Marzan; sons, Larry (Precy) Marzan, Gener (Cheri) Marzan, all of Pepeekeo; daughters, Cecilia (Mer) Ritualo of Pepeekeo, Noralinda (Steven) Dooley of Los Angeles; brothers, Antonio Marzan, Jose (Melita) Marzan, both of Papaikou; sisters, Carmen Vinluan of Papaaloa, Ana Aquino of the Philippines; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Gary Mark
Gary Mark, 70, of Hilo died Nov. 19, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born June 23, 1944, in Hilo, he was a journeyman carpenter and a member of the Hilo Yacht Club.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. Dec. 5 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo for an 11 a.m. service. Burial will follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. Family requests aloha attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Vivian Mark; son, Barry (Jill) Mark, both of Hilo; mother, Ruth Murata of Honolulu; two grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Herman Farias Sr.
Herman Farias Sr., 88, of Hilo died Nov. 26, 2014, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired installer for the Gas Co., employed at the former Wailoa Recap, Flowers of Hawaii and a World War II Army veteran.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Dec. 5 at Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church in Keaukaha (326 Desha Ave.) for a 10:30 a.m. Mass. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire requested.
