The foundations, which are being installed by Big Island Electric Service, will provide for a new crosswalk on Kawaihae Road near Longs Drugs, according to the Hawaii County Department of Public Works Traffic Division. The work will continue through early December, the county said.

No lane closures are anticipated, according to the county.
