HONOLULU — The Hawaii House of Representatives has named new leaders for its key committees and top posts.

Speaker Joseph Souki and Vice Speaker John Mizuno will head the chamber with Majority Leader Scott Saiki.

Rep. Sylvia Luke will retain her post as chairwoman of the powerful Finance Committee.

The Agriculture Committee will be led by Rep. Clift Tsuji, who has said he believes there’s a place for genetically engineered food.

Rep. Della au Bellati will lead the Health Committee.

The Consumer Protection and Commerce Committee will be led by Rep. Angus McKelvey and the Judiciary Committee will be led by Rep. Karl Rhoads.

Rep. Roy Takumi will head up the Education Committee.
