The Kamehameha Warriors and Pahoa Daggers were awarded with the Sportsmanship Trophy by the Big Island Football Officials Association on Oct. 31. Since 1978 the award is given to the Big Island Interscholastic Federation football team — or teams — demonstrating the best sportsmanship, with emphasis on respect. This year, each co-winner will keep the trophy for six months.
