Paulyn Bagaoisan
Paulyn Lara Bagaoisan, 49, of Keaau died Oct. 17, 2014, at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama facility. Born Dec. 5, 1964, in the Philippines, she worked at a floral nursery.
Friends may call at 6 p.m. Nov. 7 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may call again at 8 a.m. Nov. 8 at the Keaau Holy Rosary Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. service. Cremation will follow at Dodo Mortuary Crematory. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by husband, Jerry Bagaoisan; son, Jay Lara; mother, Adarlina Lara; sisters, Cherrie Lara, Ethelind (Angel) Ribao, brothers, Reinerio (Eleanor) Lara, Loysito (Maritess) Lara, all of Keaau; numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.

Leroy “Braddah” Kapulaninuiaumiakapukini Napeahi, 54, of Hilo died Oct. 10, 2014, at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama facility. Born Aug. 2, 1960, in Hilo, he was a former construction worker for Pimatech Construction Inc. and Pacific Inc.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. Nov. 7 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1373 Kilauea Ave. in Hilo for a 10 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.

Richard Salvador
Richard “Dicky” Salvador, 75, of Laupahoehoe died Oct. 10, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born May 17, 1939, in Lahaina, Maui, he was retired from the former Hamakua Sugar Company as a welder. He was a past editor and accountant for the International Longshoreman and Warehouse Union ILWU Local No. 142 and a member of the ILWU bowling league.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Nov. 8 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 10 a.m. service. Burial will follow at Alae Cemetery in Hilo. Family requests casual attire be worn.

Ronny Kukua
Ronny Kalilani Kukua, 65, of Captain Cook died Oct. 28, 2014, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Oct. 6, 1949, in Ka‘u, he was a musician at Kona and Maui hotels.
Services were held. He is survived by son, Kawika Kukua of Oakland, Calif.; brothers, Arthur Kukua Jr., of Las Vegas, Byron Kukua of Ocean View; sisters, Marvalee Banagan of Kailua-Kona, Jeanette (George) Pereira of Kalaoa, Lenora Wright of Honaunau, Ardis Kukua of Kealakekua and Maryanne Kukua of Utah; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Chiyoko Yagi
Chiyoko Yagi, 89, of Hilo died Oct. 31, 2014, at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama facility. Born April 5, 1925, in Hilo, she was retired from the State of Hawaii Department of Taxation as an auditor.

Clifford Dean Guerpo, 64, of Waimea died Oct. 19, 2014, at Kohala Hospital. Born March 6, 1950, in Honokaa, he was a carpenter and welder at Hilton Waikoloa Village. He also was a member of the Puukapu Senior Baseball Team in Waimea.

Glen Felton
Glen Norman Felton, 88, of Kawaihae died March 17, 2014, in a Honolulu hospital. Born July 16, 1925, in Moscow, Idaho, he was a Kawaihae Concrete co-owner and a U.S. Air Force World War II veteran.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at noon Nov. 10 at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery in Kailua-Kona.
He was survived by wife, Ernestine Felton of Kawaihae, who died May 29. He is survived by sons, Larry (Chris) Felton of Richland, Wash., Odean Osborne of Post Falls, Idaho; daughter, Kathy (Jim) Woodburn of Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren.

Ernestine “Ernie” Evelyn Felton, 94, of Kawaihae died May 29, 2014, at her Hilo home. Born in Olympia, Wash., on Nov. 30, 1919, she was a homemaker and Kawaihae Concrete co-owner.
Graveside services will be held at noon Nov. 10 at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery in Kailua-Kona.

Vilmafe Blanco Jara, 48, of Naalehu died Oct. 27, 2014, at Kona Community Hospital. Born June 23, 1966, in Pangasinan, Philippines, she was a Mac Farms Hawaii nut harvester and Naalehu Assembly of God member.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. Nov. 7 at the family’s residence, 95-5539 Mamalahoa Highway, Naalehu, for a 7 p.m. wake service. Friends may also call at 8 a.m. Nov. 8 at the Naalehu Assembly of God for a 9 a.m. funeral service. Burial will be at the Naalehu Community Cemetery. The family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome. Luncheon and fellowship to follow at the Jara residence.

Esperanza “Pancing” Magaoay Acob, 69, of Hilo died Oct. 10, 2014, at the Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center in Hilo. Born Dec. 18, 1944, in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippine Islands, she was a retired Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corp. factory worker, member of the St. Joseph Filipino Catholic Club, Puainako Prayer Group and Mabuhay Club of Hilo.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. Nov. 6 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo, a celebration of life follows at 6 p.m. Visitation continues from 9 to 10 Nov. 7 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo; funeral Mass begins at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Hilo. Casual attire is requested.
