On Aug. 28, Honokaa High and Intermediate School eighth-graders of Cindy Navarro-Bowman’s AVID and Manuel Jadulang’s agriculture classes spent the day at Puuwaawaa. Students helped plant native plants. They also used GPS units to mark waypoints for all the items planted for future data collection.
