The University of Hawaii at Hilo’s women’s golf team turned in another 44-over 336 and finished in a tie for seventh Tuesday at the Dixie State Invitational in Utah.

The University of Hawaii at Hilo’s women’s golf team turned in another 44-over 336 and finished in a tie for seventh Tuesday at the Dixie State Invitational in Utah.

Erin Costes was the only Vulcan to break 80 during 36 holes at Sunbrook Golf Course. Costes closed with a 6-over 79 and tied for 16th place at 15-over. Alison Tengan (85) and Shannon Abarra (86) tied for 35th at 24-over, Mariah Paiste (87) was 44th at 26-over and Andi Igawa (86) was another shot back.

Western Washington won the tournament with a 610, while Dixie State’s Brittney Bisgrove (77) took medalist honors at 2-over.
