The Alohahas Improv and Sketch Comedy Company will perform at the ninth annual Improvaganza Hawaii Festival of Improv, held on Oahu, Sept. 25 to 28. The Alohahas’ unique style of improvisation melds together a short-form style with long-form narratives and story-telling using audience suggestions. The Alohahas will be featured on the festival’s lineup for Sept. 25 and will perform a totally improvised 20-minute show in front of a live audience.

Festival performances, workshops, panel discussions and events take place in the arts district of downtown Honolulu at The ARTS at Marks Garage and Kumu Kahua Theatre. Improv shows start at 8 and 10 p.m. each day.

Improvaganza is Hawaii’s only international festival dedicated to improv comedy and improvised theater. Improvisers from all over the world come to Honolulu to perform, attend workshops and network. This year’s festival will feature 21 improv companies representing North America, South America, Europe and New Zealand.
