Police looking for owner of box found in Hilo

Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the owner of a box with contents that was turned in to police as found property Sunday 24. The box was discovered in a parking lot on Anela Street in South Hilo and has a distinctive illustration on the cover.

Anyone with information about this box should call Officer Paul Mangus at 961-2213 or the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.
