Burglary
Aug. 16, two dive lights, two regulators with computers to dive, 17 keys and some batteries were reportedly taken at Honokohau Small Boat Harbor.
Stolen Vehicles
Aug. 16, a red 2000 Ford F-150, bearing the license plate 644HCY, was reportedly stolen from the Honokohau Small Boat Harbor.
Aug. 17, a black 2010 Sym DD 49CC mo-ped, bearing the registration number H34181, was reportedly stolen from the Bike Works parking lot on Luhia Street. The mo-ped has a white “Hang Loose” sticker on the front fender.
Aug. 18, a blue 2010 Adly Jet 50 mo-ped, bearing the VIN number RFLDJ05168A017714, was reportedly stolen from Alahou Clean &Sober.
Aug. 19, a black 2000 BMW 323CI two-door convertible, bearing the license plate HDN132, was reportedly stolen from Queen Kaahumanu Highway, south of mile marker 120.
Aug. 20, a silver 2006 Nissan Xterra, bearing the license plate PBG468, was reportedly stolen on the 74-900 block of Manawalea Street.
Aug. 21, police detained a man who allegedly tried to steal a vehicle at Daylight Mind Coffee Co. on Alii Drive.
Theft from vehicle
Aug. 17, a Sachtler camera tripod and case was reportedly stolen from a vehicle on the 75-5000 block of Palani Road.
Aug. 18, the following items were reportedly stolen from a vehicle on the 74-700 block of Uluaoa Street: a wallet with $15 in cash, a First Hawaiian Bank debit card, a Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union card, Hawaii driver’s license, vehicle insurance card and keys to a vehicle.
Theft
Aug. 17, an iPad Mini was reportedly stolen at Old Kona Airport Park beach.
Aug. 19, vehicle keys, as well as a tool box with tools and miscellaneous equipment, were reportedly stolen on Queen Kaahumanu Highway, south of mile marker 120.
