Felicity Johnson resumes the helm of her Intergenerational Acting Class on Sept. 4. This class is for all ages, and meets from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursdays at the theater, culminating in a free public performance. A script is being created for this session, so interested students should sign up as soon as possible, to be included as a character. Tuition is based on $10 per class.

A play writing group, led by local playwrights John Holliday and Kitty Powell, will meet on alternating Saturdays at the APAC Loft, across the street from Aloha Theatre. Specifics will be available in September.

Aloha Teen Theatre meets from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Fridays at the APAC Loft. This group, led by adviser Roxanne Fox, works on performance skills, with two big shows coming up later in the year. Fundraising activities are also planned, for an annual off-island theater excursion. Involvement in the program is free, and promises educational and performance opportunities for those 13 through 18 years old. The group is ongoing, and members can join at any time.
