Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man and a woman suspected of a Wednesday theft from a department store on Puainako Street in Hilo.

Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man and a woman suspected of a Wednesday theft from a department store on Puainako Street in Hilo.

The woman shown was wearing a distinctive scorpion-design bracelet. The pair was seen leaving in a light-color pickup truck, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

Anyone with information about this case should call Officer Jacob Obermiller at 961-2213 or the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
