HONOLULU — The name of a motorcyclist who died in a weekend crash has been released.

KITV says the Honolulu medical examiner identified the man as 26-year-old Nickolaus Siu of Aiea.

Police say Siu was on one of three motorcyclists driving on the onramp to the H-3 Freeway from the Likelike Highway.

One of the motorcyclists lost control and took out another motorcycle.

Siu was pronounced dead at the scene, and another man was taken to Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition. That man’s condition was later upgraded to good.

The third motorcyclist was not hurt in the incident.

Investigators say speed was a possible factor in the collision.
