Members of Gold Coast Little League girls softball are raising funds to travel to regional tournaments on the mainland later this month.

The funds will help support the cost of sending Gold Coast’s little and senior league teams to two different regional tournaments in the western U.S. The girls will be stationed at various locations in West Hawaii in the coming days.

The little league team will be traveling to San Bernardino, Calif, to compete in the week-long west regional tournament in San Bernardino, Calif., which starts July 18. The softball little league world series is slated for Aug. 7 to 13 in Portland, Ore.

The senior league team will travel to Missoula, Mont., to compete in the week-long west regional tournament, which starts July 25. The softball senior league world series will be held Aug. 3 to 9 in Lower Sussex, Del.
