Jill Kaupu
Jill Asako Kahiliaulani Kaupu, 43, of Hilo died June 26, 2014, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born Dec. 21, 1970, in Hilo, she worked as a waitress.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. July 5 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hilo Stake Center, 1373 Kilauea Ave., for a 10 a.m. service. Burial follows at the Alae Cemetery in Hilo. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by parents, Robert and Geraldine Kaupu Jr. of Hilo; companion, Frank Reynolds of Hilo; brothers, Robert (Linda) Kaupu III of Ohio, Randall Kaupu of North Carolina, Raymond (Joy) Kaupu, Raphael (Sandy) Kaupu and Radford Kaupu, all of Hilo, Ravel (Donna) Kaupu of Pahala; sisters, Roberta Kaupu of Virginia, Rochelle (Harold) Hemperley of South Carolina, Renell (Greg) Kaupu-Kaialiilii of Kona, Loryn (Eric) Rouelle of Waikoloa, Kelly (Stanley) Kauwe of Hilo; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Hans Glapa
Hans James Glapa, 38, of Kona Paradise died June 21, 2014, at his home. Born Nov. 13, 1975, in Dunkirk, N.Y., he was a carpenter, accomplished guitar player and member of the World of Magicians.
A private service will be held. He is survived by parents, James and Cheryl Glapa of Brocton, N.Y.; brother, Mark (Brooks) Glapa of New York; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kaiana Barry Curtis Haili, 69, of Hilo died June 12, 2014, in Hilo. Born Oct. 20, 1944, in Seattle, he was a retired Aloha Airlines customer service agent, teacher and spiritual adviser/cultural practitioner.
Friends may call at 6 p.m. July 8 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 7 p.m. service. On Oahu, friends may call at 5 p.m. July 15 at Waipio Community Baptist Church for a 7 p.m. service. Family requests aloha attire be worn.
He is survived by spouse, Brian Sabog; sons, Hemi Kohu, Tyler Paul; daughters, Raychel Sky, Aniwa Kohu; brothers, Lani Haili, Brett Gouveia, Michael Johnson, Terence Sabog; sisters, Pilialoha Johnson, Tehani Haili-Homer, Namoku Joy Olsson, Linda Collazo, Hinewirangi Morgan; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
