Kona’s Shut D won the 14-and-under division at the HI-PAL Click It or Ticket Summer Tournament last weekend at Keaukaha Gym with a 4-0 record, beating Hoop Dreams 52-28 for the championship. Bryton Lewi scored 22 points to lead Shut D, which includes Mel Oandason, Isaiah Estorpe, Sanjay Thompson, Moses Brooks and Lewko Lai. Randon Arima led Hoop Dreams with 11.
In the 12-and-under division, Hoop Dreams beat PGU 42-21.
Seventy-four youths from 10 teams participated in the tournament.
