Burglary

June 14, a home break-in was reported in the 75-5600 block of Kuakini Highway in North Kona, with a suspect entering the home and taking $35 in cash from a wallet and keys to a vehicle bearing license plate ZCB066.

Stolen Vehicle

June 12, a red SYM mo-ped valued at $1,900 and locked with a cable lock was reported stolen from the bottom of Kaiminani Drive at Queen Kaahumanu Highway in North Kona.

June 13, a mo-ped, with a black Nixon sticker on the front fender, valued at $2,000, was reported stolen from Alii Drive in North Kona.

June 14, a maroon 1991 Toyota Xtracab pickup truck with tinted windows and a 10-inch dent near the driver’s side rear wheel, bearing license plate 746HDK, was reported stolen from the 75-6000 block of Alii Drive in North Kona.

June 15, a gray 2009 Mazda four-door sedan with clear brake light covers, bearing license plate ZCG466 was reported stolen from OTEC beach in North Kona.

Theft from a car

June 10, a black purse with a New Hampshire driver’s license and Visa credit card valued at $1,500 were stolen from a rental vehicle on the 78-6700 block of Alii Drive in North Kona.

June 10, a backpack valued at $162 was reported stolen and a car lock damaged at Honokohau Harbor in North Kona.

June 10, a bag was reported stolen from the trunk of a vehicle at Kealakekua Bay in South Kona.

June 10, A wallet and cellphone were reported stolen from a Jeep Wrangler, with a console pried open and damaged, at Kua Bay in North Kona.

June 14, property was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 75-6000 block of Alii Drive in North Kona.

June 15, a rear window of a vehicle was reported broken with a rock and a glove box opened but no items removed on the 75-6000 block of Alii Drive in North Kona.
