Takeyoshi “Shine” Fujimoto, 85, of Ninole died June 19, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Aug. 14, 1928, in Ninole, he was a retired machine operator employed by the former Hilo Coast Sugar Co., member of the Senior Citizens Bowling League and member of the Honohina Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.

Jesus “John” Marcos Bartolome, 68, of Pahoa died May 29, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Dec. 24, 1945, in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a retired proprietor and farmer.

Roselani “Nani” Heneralau, 68, of Kailua-Kona died May 13, 2014, at her residence. Born Dec. 30, 1945, in Hilo, she was a retired baker at both the Keauhou and Kailua-Kona KTA stores, a presser at the former Kona Dry Cleaning, a coffee picker, proprietor of Rose’s Child Care, a volunteer for the March of Dimes and member of American Business Women’s Association.

John Edward Kaukali Dill, 38, of Hilo died May 29, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Orlando, Fla., he was a construction manager for Rider Levett Bucknall, worked for the state Department of Land and Natural Resources-Department of Aquatic Research, former state Contractors License Board member, former chairman for the County of Hawaii Board of Ethics, Hawaii Island Contractors Association, County of Hawaii Environmental Management Board and member of Heritage Christian Fellowship.
A service will be held at 4 p.m. June 28 at the Wainaku Executive Center in Hilo. Family requests aloha attire be worn.

Raymond Thomas Gaughen, 69, of Waikoloa died June 15, 2014, at his residence. Born July 11, 1944, in Honolulu, he was a retired heavy equipment operator, gradesetter and member of AFL-CIO Operating Engineers Local Union 3.
