HONOLULU — The search is on for someone to replace the outgoing vice chancellor for students at the University of Hawaii’s Manoa campus.

HONOLULU — The search is on for someone to replace the outgoing vice chancellor for students at the University of Hawaii’s Manoa campus.

Current Vice Chancellor for Students Francisco Hernandez will be stepping down and returning to a faculty position in August.

The university is beginning the formal search process. A search advisory committee is being chaired by Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Reed Dasenbrock.

The committee will recommend finalists to Chancellor Tom Apple, who will recommend a candidate to the university’s president.

The committee will begin reviewing applications next month.
