Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted for fraudulent use of a credit card. The card was used at a store in Hilo for charges totaling approximately $176.

Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted for fraudulent use of a credit card. The card was used at a store in Hilo for charges totaling approximately $176.

The man’s image was captured on a surveillance camera. He is described as black, in his late 20s with a slim build, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

Anyone with information on his identity or whereabouts should call the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
