Original artwork by Hawaii Island artists Edwin Kayton, Kira Kamamalu, Vicki Penney-Rohner and Terry Taube contribute to a theme featuring the voyaging canoes and Hawaii Island.

Chris Luedi, the hotel’s general manager, has been involved in the Hawaiian voyaging tradition for more than a decade. Under his leadership, the hotel has partnered with the nonprofit Volcano Art Center to enhance the visitor experience by displaying artwork by local artists.
