HONOLULU — The parents of a woman killed in a Honolulu farmers’ market crash have filed a lawsuit claiming negligence.

Anne Runland died after a Mao Organic Farms delivery truck reversed into her while she was setting up a booth at the Kapiolani Community College farmers’ market.

The lawsuit filed in state court Wednesday names the farm and the truck driver as defendants. Representatives of the Waianae farm couldn’t immediately be reached for comment. The woman driving the truck wasn’t criminally charged.

The March crash closed the popular weekly market for the day.
