Dyreson Kuoha

Dyreson Aaron “Babu” Kuoha, 59, of Panaewa died April 6, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Oct. 18, 1954, in Honolulu, he was the owner and proprietor of Kuhina Taxi &Tours.

Friends may call at 5 p.m. May 3 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 6 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn. Lei are welcomed.

He is survived by wife, Ivy Kuoha of Panaewa; daughters, Desiree Kuoha of Kona, Daelyn (Elvis) Lum and Dionne (Bobby Bailey) Kuoha, both of Hilo, Donnie (Jason Busque) Kuoha of Waimea; brothers, Edward Kuoha, Duran Kuoha and Troy Kuoha, all of Oahu; sisters, Delrena (Jerome) Marquez, Darnell Kuoha and Darlynn Kuoha, all of Oahu; six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Tony Oliver

Tony Oliver, 57, of Pahoa died April 26, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia, he was a retired postal worker in California.

Friends may call at 10:30 a.m. May 3 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pahoa for an 11:30 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by wife, Mary Oliver of Pahoa; daughters, Rita (Chris) Turner and Mary Oliver, both of California, Marcy (Evan) Olmstead of Maryland; son, Duke Oliver of California; mother, Renada Oliver of Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia; brothers, Alpon Oliver of Keaau, Armando Oliver of Pohnpei and Augustin Oliver, both of Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia; sisters, Adelina Felix, Antonia Manual, Arsenia Ligohr and Angkelina Ligohr, all of Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia, Angkela Mauricio-Oliver of Keaau; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
