Makani Perry

Makani Nathanael Perry, 6 months, of Kailua-Kona died Feb. 15, 2014, at home. He was born on July 24, 2013, in Honolulu.

Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. March 30 at Carol Perry’s home, located at 76-271 Kealoha St. in Kamani Trees for a service.

He is survived by parents, Michael and Laura Perry; brother, Jesse Cuaresma; sister, Lexie Cuaresma; grandparents, Carol Perry all of Kailua-Kona, Charles and Jane Scott of Montgomery, Ill., Bill Perry of Bishop, Calif.; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Ludvik Limberg

Ludvik Limberg, 82, of Kailua-Kona died March 8, 2014. Born Dec. 4, 1931, in Slovakia, he was a real estate developer, a contractor and an artist.

Friends may call at 9:30 a.m. April 5 at Keauhou Canoe Club for a service. A private scattering of ashes will follow.

He is survived by wife, Ling Ling Limberg of Kailua-Kona; son, Charles Limberg of Kealakekua; stepdaughters, Diane Yeh of Maui, Shirley (Todd) Hull of Kailua-Kona; one grandchild.

Dorothy Lee

Dorothy Frances Lee, 89, of Pahoa died March 17, 2014, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Pahoa, she was a retired orchid farmer for the former Helen’s Flowers and a member of Kamauloa O Ka Malamalama in Kurtistown and Pahoa Senior Citizens.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. April 2 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for an 11 a.m. service. Burial will follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Family requests casual attire be worn.

She is survived by hanai daughter, Lucy (Adam) Warren of Keaau; numerous nieces and nephews.

Stanley Heggland Jr.

Stanley Ellison Heggland Jr., 81, of Hilo died March 11, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Jan. 1, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a retired sergeant major in the U.S. Army.

Private services were held.

He is survived by sons, Geoffrey Heggland, Christopher Heggland both of Oahu, Haugesund Heggland, Gregory Heggland both of Hilo; daughters, Diana Heggland of Hilo, Windy Arriaga of California, Lehuanani Heggland of Colorado; brother, Donald Heggland of Virginia.

Edward Peterson Jr.

Edward T. Peterson Jr., 85, of Kailua-Kona died March 16, 2014, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Oct. 27, 1928, in Missouri, he served in the U.S. Navy and retired in aviation administration.

Private services were held.

He is survived by wife, Linda Peterson of Kona; son, Ward Peterson of North Carolina; daughter, Christine (Steve) Pike of California; one grandson.

Carol Andrews

Carol Maria Oania Andrews, 60, of Keauhou died March 23, 2014, at home. Born Feb. 25, 1954, in Bacarra, I.N., Philippines, she was a retired defense industry consultant.

A private service will be held.

She is survived by husband, Michael Andrews of Keauhou; brothers, Renato (Lydia) Oania of Cerritos, Calif., Ruben Oania of Mililani, Oahu; sisters, Alejandra (Jojo) Aczon, Merlinda Oania, Flordelis Oania all of Aiea, Oahu; a niece and numerous nephews.
