“Ahupuaa” by Hawaiian artist Kira Kamamalu will be displayed today through March 21 at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel in conjunction with Rumley Gallery. The large-scale, 11-by-7-foot painting depicts the ancient Hawaiian land system and its sustainable culture. Kamamalu recently exhibited in Italy at the Florence Biennale.
