With their fifth straight victory, the Wildcats (7-1-2) moved from fourth to second in the Division I standings and retained their designs on the top spot heading to the final day of the regular season. Regardless of how the Vikings fare, the Wildcats can earn a home match in the Jan. 29 BIIF semifinals by beating the Warriors (7-2-1).
Nikki Kunitomo, Kyla Turpin and Keliya Kimitete-Pias rounded out the goal-scorers for the Wildcats on Wednesday. Goalkeeper Taiana Tolleson blanked the Lions (2-8).
