Richard Totman
Richard “Lefty” “Haole” Mark Totman, 78, of Ainaloa died Jan. 19, 2014, at his home. Born Nov. 12, 1935, in Benton, Maine, he was a retired Honolulu City and County refuse truck driver, former commander of VFW Post 3830 Nanawale, an Air Force and Marine Corps Reserves veteran and member of Pahoa Sacred Heart Parish and Pahoa Senior Club.
Friends may call at 11 a.m. Jan. 24 at the VFW Post 3830, 15-775 Maluhia Road, Nanawale Subdivision in Pahoa for a service. For information, call Jan Kama at 965-6671. Additional services on Oahu and inurnment at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery will be held at a later date. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Remedios Totman; daughters, Mae (Ray) Clifford, Bernadette (Dean) Souza; sons, Lonnie (Donna) Wilson, Michael Wilson, Stephen (Cheryl) Wilson, Nathan Totman, Patrick (Grayson) Totman; stepson, Zachary Floresca; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Timothy Leo Palmer, 49, of Hilo died Jan. 4, 2014, at his residence. Born in Jersey City, N.J., he was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

Pacita “Pat” Manasas, 78, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 19, 2013, at her residence. Born Oct. 30, 1935, in Ewa, Oahu, she was a health aide at Kealakehe Elementary School and member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
Friends may call at 6 p.m. Jan. 26 at Mililani Park and Mortuary’s mauka chapel at 94-560 Kamehameha Highway in Waipio, Oahu, for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may also call at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 27 at the chapel for a 10 a.m. service. Burial follows. Family requests casual attire be worn.
