Kahuku Practical Pistol Shooting Club, a West Hawaii shooting club, is holding a steel challenge match on Sunday. Steel challenge is a shooting competition with the emphasis on speed and accuracy. This match will be using 22-caliber pistols and rifles.

Driver education classes offered
Marlin Driving Academy is offering driver education classes in North Hawaii:
c 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, Dec. 16 through Jan. 3 at Kanu O Ka Aina Campus in Waimea. No class will be held on Dec. 19, 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1.
c 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sundays and Wednesdays, Jan. 5 through Feb. 5, at Waikoloa Community Church.
c 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, Jan. 14 through Feb. 6, at Honokaa Complex.
Driver education courses are open to students ages 15½ and older. The courses include classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction. After completion of courses, students will be eligible for their Hawaii driver license.
