N. Kohala library offers holiday programs

Jewelry artist Sid Nakamoto will demonstrate a simple holiday jewelry design at 2 p.m. and again at 6 p.m. Monday. Materials and assistance will be provided for participants to create their own jewelry piece. Class size is limited. Call the library at 889-6655 to register for the afternoon or evening program.

A holiday music concert at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 9 will feature five Kohala musicians playing recorders, guitars and piano. This annual concert is coordinated by flute and recorder instructor Wendy Hindley.

As Christmas Eve anticipation heightens, children’s librarian Leilani Silver will present a family fun night at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 23. Children ages 4 to 9 and their families are invited to enjoy holiday stories, crafts and refreshments.

Admission is free and the entire family is invited to enjoy these holiday activities.
