Ironman World Championship race director Diana Bertsch will speak at the Rotary of Kona Mauka meeting Tuesday. The club meets from noon to 1 p.m every Tuesday at Teshima’s Restaurant in Honalo. Lunch is $20 per person.

Kalua turkey workshop offered
A kalua turkey workshop will be taught Wednesday at the Amy B. H. Greenwell Ethnobotanical Garden in Kealakekua. Participants will begin preparing their turkeys and the imu at 7:30 a.m. and will return in the afternoon to remove their turkey. Cost for the workshop is $30, or $25 for Bishop Museum or Greenwell garden members.

Look Good Feel Better class planned
The next session of the American Cancer Society’s Look Good Feel Better class will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Kona Community Hospital’s Radiation Oncology Conference room at 79-1019 Kaukapila St. in Kealakekua.
The free program teaches beauty techniques to women cancer patients facing the side effects of cancer treatment. The class is taught by licensed cosmetologists and is free of charge.

Secret Santas to help keiki sought
Family Support Hawaii is seeking secret Santas for its Kalikimaka No Na Keiki (Christmas for the Children) campaign. The program has been making children happy for five years. Participants can purchase gifts for the children of a family in need or make a monetary donation.
