Big Island police are searching for a man wanted for questioning in connection with a reported burglary and theft last month in Hilo.

Big Island police are searching for a man wanted for questioning in connection with a reported burglary and theft last month in Hilo.

Several items valued at more than $300 were stolen Oct. 30 from a home on lower Haihai Street, according to the Hawaii County Police Department

Investigation by detectives led to the identity of a possible suspect, 21-year-old Kalei Kaaumoana of Hilo, according to police. He is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He is also wanted for questioning in connection with other burglaries in the Waiakea Uka area, according to police.
