Kona patrol officers responded to a 3 p.m. call from Holualoa Elementary School and learned that the second-grade student, Alexander Kaiser, failed to arrive home after catching the bus from the school to the Nani Kailua Drive area.

Kaiser is described as Caucasian-Filipino, 4-feet tall, weighing 80 pounds, with black curly hair. He was wearing a blue T-shirt, gray shorts, black-and-blue athletic shoes and carrying a black backpack with a green design.

Police ask anyone who sees him to call the police department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.
