‘Junk’ needed by artists collaboration

The third annual Hawaii Artists Collaboration needs junk.

The Holualoa event, held Oct. 21 to 24, will feature more than 30 artists using junk, castaways and other items to create art. With that in mind, the collaboration is asking Big Islanders to donate any cool, retro or unused items such as old tools, gears, bikes and wheels.

Pickup is available for items within West Hawaii. Items may also be dropped off at Tai Lake’s studio in Holualoa or at Discovery Antiques in Kealakekua, which can be reached at 323-2239.
