Burglary

Sept. 28, someone took U.S. currency and Hawaiian bracelets from a location in the 73-5900 block of Hawaii Belt Road.

Sept. 28, someone took a Lenovo laptop from Kealakehe Elementary School.

Sept. 28, someone took U.S. currency and a gold-colored Croton watch from the Manago Hotel.

Oct. 2, someone took multiple food items from the Harbor House Bar & Grill.

Vehicle theft

Sept. 28, someone took a blue, 2011 Kymco moped, with the serial number RFBB1A041BB522354, from the 76-6100 block of Pakalana Road.

Sept. 28, someone took a white, 2004 Toyota pickup truck from the Kona International Airport. The truck was later recovered and a man arrested.

Sept. 28, someone took a 1998 Toyota four-door sedan from the University of the Nations. The car was later found, after being involved in a crash on Saddle Road. The vehicle’s occupant left the scene before police arrived.

Between Sept. 28 and Oct. 1, a woman loaned a white, 2013 Toyota sedan, with the Hawaii license plate ZAX043, to another woman. The car was never returned.

Sept. 30, someone took a silver 2006 Honda Accord four-door sedan, bearing Hawaii license plate HJF852, from the 89-1000 block of Captain Cook Road.

Theft

Sept. 28, someone took a 24-inch, pink Mongoose bicycle and seven plastic bags full of recyclables from the 74-800 block of Uluaoa Street.

Sept. 28, someone took a black AT&T prepaid cell phone from the 74-5000 block of Kealakaa Street.

Oct. 3, a man reported his license plan, 369HDN, was taken from his vehicle. He did not know when it was taken.
