Clifford Wesley Harrell, 69, of Ocean View died Sept. 3, 2013, at his residence. Born April 26, 1944, in Honolulu, he was a retired business owner and entrepreneur.
Private services were held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Hospice of Kona, P.O. Box 4130, Kailua-Kona, HI 96745.
He is survived by sons, Kapua (Abcde) Harrell and Kalani Prince, all of Kahului, Maui; brothers, Edward (Lynn) Lincoln of Kipahulu, Maui, Gulam (Turia) Lincoln of Ocean View; sisters, Marcia (Larry) Strate of Captain Cook, June Mello of Orange County, Calif.; a grandson; numerous nieces and nephews.

Kathryn Rush
Kathryn “Kathy” Ann Rush, 68, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 30, 2013, at Kona Community Hospital. Born April 27, 1945, in Honolulu, she was a retired employee of Liberty House and Macy’s.
Private services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by brother, Hank (Reba Mae) Silva of Holualoa; sister, Joy (Steve Haney) Foster-Haney of Kailua-Kona; nephews, Bruce (Pauline) Silva of Kalaoa, Brent (Kathi) Foster of Waimea, Brock (Jamie) Foster of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; four grandnephews and a grandniece.

Lois Schuster
Lois Gilman Schuster, 86, of Hilo died Aug. 21, 2013, at her residence. Born in Puunene, Maui, July 27, 1927, she was a homemaker, a former volunteer at Lyman House Museum, a founding member of the Hawaii Island Humane Society, and a member of Daughters of Hawaii, Hawaiian Mission Children’s Society and First United Protestant Church of Hilo.

She is survived by sons, Charles (Laurel) Schuster, of Honolulu, Richard (Laura) Schuster of Hilo, Robert (Tricia) Schuster of San Diego, Calif., Henry (Rebecca) Schuster of Kailua-Kona; sister, Patricia Greenwell of Waimea; brother, Joseph (Shelly) Gilman of Kailua, Oahu; six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Hannah Hirata
Hannah Miyako Hirata, 92, formerly of Ookala and Ahualoa is survived by a brother, Mikio Izu of Honaunau. He was incorrectly identified in an obituary submitted by the mortuary.
