Correction | Four donated funds for defibrillators
Four Big Island residents donated the funds for the four automatic defibrillators for the Hawaii Fire Department during the Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Foundation’s benefit dinner and awards. The donors were South Kona/Ka‘u Councilwoman Brenda Ford, Balbi Brooks of Waimea and Jim and Lynn Lally of Kukio, said Laura Mallery-Sayre, the foundation’s co-founder.
As a result of incorrect information provided by the foundation, an article in the Sept. 6 edition stated Ford was the only donor.
