Dave Shoji stands alone.

Shoji became the winningest coach in NCAA Division I on Friday night as the Rainbow Wahine beat Santa Clara 25-23, 25-15, 23-25, 25-18 at Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

Emily Hartong smacked 20 kills, including one on the final point of the match to secure Shoji’s career win No. 1,107.

Jade Vorster added 10 kills for Hawaii (4-1), and Kalei Adolpho had eight.

Nikki Hess had 19 kills for Santa Clara (3-2).
