Helen Cabasal Garcia, 73, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 31, 2013, at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born Feb. 4, 1940, in Isabela, Philippines, she was an associate at Walmart in Kailua-Kona.

Born March 7, 1937, in Boston, he was a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Servic; member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and American Legion; and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

Hugh Hazard Willocks, 72, of Hilo died Sept. 4, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born July 15, 1941, in Hilo, he was chairman of the board of Willocks Construction Corp., a Vietnam War Army veteran, former president and lifetime member of the Hawaii Island Contractors Association and a member of the National Rifle Association and the Republican Party.

Ted Satomi Tanimoto, 88, of Hilo died July 25, 2013, at his residence. Born in Papaaloa, he was a retired electrician, member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, Laupahoehoe High School Class of 1943, Big Island Beekeepers Association, Kapualani Kumiai and a life time member of IBEW.
Private services were held.
He is survived by sisters, Betty (Asamitsu) Hiromura and Myrtle (George) Nakasato, both of Honolulu; caregiver, Kanani Alfiche of Mountain View; numerous nieces and nephews.
