Richard Yoshida
Richard Kazuto Yoshida, 88, of Keaau, died July 21, 2013, at the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born July 4, 1925, in Hanapepe, Kauai, he was retired from Japan Airlines and a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
Friends may call at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 6 at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Punchbowl for an urn committal service. Family requests casual attire be worn and flowers be omitted.
He is survived by sons, Dennis (Marlene) Yoshida, of Keaau, Glenn (Charleen) Yoshida, of Mililani, Oahu; daughters, Jean Youn, of Honolulu, Janice (Gordon) Arakaki, Karen (Mark) Loo, both of San Mateo, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
