Theodora “Pinky” Bondaug Kamai Roberson, 63, of Volcano died Aug. 5, 2013, at her residence in Volcano. Born June 7, 1950, in Honolulu, she worked at the Dollar Rental Agency, Dr. Douglas Yamashita’s office, Conen Trucking, the Hawaii Botanical Gardens and Big Three Industries.
A celebration of life will be held at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 19 at the Haili’s Tent at Panaewa Park in South Hilo. The family requests casual attire be worn and flowers be omitted.
She is survived by sisters, Linda (Robin) Sanford of New Zealand, Debra (Michael) Ferreira of Pahoa and Marissa Bondaug of Volcano; brothers, Terry Murray of Volcano, Shawn (Lovelyn) Bondaug of Keauhou, and Teddy Bondaug of Keaau; stepsisters, Stephanie Francisco of Hilo, Renesse Madera of Keaau and Lorena Shirley of Mobile, Ala.; stepbrothers, Rodney Francisco of San Antonio, Raymond Ignacio of Volcano, Michael Sosa of Keaau and Mathew Sosa of Maui; numerous nephews and nieces.

Paul Shinichi Miyashiro, 58, of Hilo died Aug. 8, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born June 20, 1955, in Hilo, he worked for The Arc of Hilo.
Friends may call at 4 p.m. Aug. 20 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 5 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by sisters, Catherine (Ricky) Kimata, of Centennial, Colo., Pauline Miyashiro, of Hilo, Doris (Henry) Grace, of Kona; brother, James (Evelyn) Miyashiro, of Pearl City, Oahu; nieces and nephews.

Fusae Takahara
Fusae Takahara, 85, of Redlands, Calif., formerly of Captain Cook, died July 7, 2013, in California. Born May 12, 1928, in Captain Cook, she was a homemaker and member of the Kona Hongwanji Mission and Buddhist Women’s Association.
Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts or flowers.
She is survived by daughter, Fay (Robert) Scott of California; sons, Brian (Lynne) Takahara of Hilo, Stuart (Mary) Takahara and Carl (Mark Wilhelm) Takahara, both of California; brother, Hideo Uchida of Honolulu; six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
