Spencer House preservation talk
story set Sunday

The public is invited to a Waimea Preservation Association talk story from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Spencer House, next to the Waimea McDonald’s, to share ways to keep the historic home open as a community gathering place.

This is the first of several planned gatherings to craft a plan to cover basic costs and support community service groups and nonprofit organizations. Preserving the history of the home and addressing repairs will also be discussed.
