Chad Hundley

Chad Kevin Hundley, 40, of Mountain View died July 24, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born June 30, 1973, in Hilo, he was a former firefighter for the Hawaii County Fire Department.

Private services are pending.

He is survived by sons, Tiger Hundley, Talon Hundley, both of Kona; mother, Caroline Kapuras Kuilipule, of Mountain View; stepfather, Preston Kuilipule, of Mountain View; sisters, Lynn (Donald) Iokepa, of Kona, Lezli (Jeffrey) Strength, of Tucson, Ariz., Laura Hundley, of Kona; nieces and nephews.

Maile Ke

Maile Ann Ke, 66, of Kailua-Kona died June 30, 2013, at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born Aug. 7, 1946 in Honolulu, she retired from Y.M. Hanato Style, Barber & Massage and W.S. Hanato’s Hairstyling as a barber. She was also a waitress for Manago Hotel, as well as a bartender and waitress for the former Ocean View Restaurant & Bar.

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 10 at Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club at Honokohau Harbor. The service begins at noon. The family requests casual attire be worn. For information, call 640-7066.

She is survived by husband, Alapai Ke; daughters, Chic Ke, Mikela Ke, all of Kailua-Kona; hanai daughter, Luana (Jim Nelson) Lester-Nelson of Kapolei, Oahu; sister, Wini (Skip) Hewett of Kaaawa, Oahu; brother, Jerry (Leslie) Watson of Oregon; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Joseph Lopez

Joseph “Myboy” “Papa Joe” M. Lopez, 72, of Hilo, died July 18, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born on May 29, 1941, in Honolulu, he was a retired machinist for Hawaii Electric Light Co. and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 1260 Union, Hawaii Army National Guard and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.

Services were held.

He is survived by wife, Rosalind “Lindy” M. Lopez of Hilo; son, Joseph Dominic (Marie) Lopez Sr. of Guam; daughters, Jennifer Lynn (Douglas) Reavis Jr. and Jeana Marie Lopez of Hilo; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters, Lorraine Apo, Diane (Stewart) Ah Nin and Dolores (Melvin) Chun of Honolulu; numerous nieces and nephews.

William Morris Sr.

William Norman Morris Sr., 94, of Ahualoa died July 10, 2013, at his residence. Born Nov. 23, 1918, in Harleton, Texas, he was a retired mortgage banker and World War II veteran who also served in Korea and Burma as a pilot.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 3 at the Goo family residence in Ahualoa. For information, call 775-1228.

He is survived by sons, William (Barbara) Morris Jr. of Lake Forest, Calif., Marcus (Regina) Morris of Mission Viejo, Calif.; daughter, Cathy Goo of Ahualoa; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
