Tutu’s House to host Metabolic Syndrome lecture

Metabolic Syndrome is a combination of obesity, high triglycerides, low HDL cholesterol, high blood pressure and high blood sugar. Buzz Hollander and Michelle Suber, co-founders of Iris Integrative Health, a Waimea health clinic that combines conventional and naturopathic medicine, will lecture about Metabolic Syndrome, discussing its causes and ways to avoid or treat it, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Tutu’s House. Free risk-factor health screenings will follow the presentation.
