Gillyn Leones Tabafunda, 17, of Waimea died June 2, 2013, at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu. Born Aug. 23, 1995, in Hilo, she was a member of the Honokaa Iloko Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Friends may call at 1 p.m. June 29 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in (Kalopa) Honokaa for a 3 p.m. service.
She is survived by parents, Gil and Jonalyn Tabafunda of Waimea; brothers, Ervin Tabafunda of Waimea, Daniel (Kamlin Pung) Tabafunda of Honokaa; maternal grandparents, George and Natividad Leones of Philippines; two nieces; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
