Sadako Matsumoto Koga, 86, of Waimea and formerly of Papaaloa died June 9, 2013, at her home. Born in Paauhau Mauka, she was a homemaker and member of the Papaaloa Hongwanji Mission.

Friends may call at 10:30 a.m. June 29 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for an 11:30 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

She is survived by son, Alan (JoAnn) Koga of Waimea; brothers, Hiroshi (Helen) Matsumoto and George (Elaine) Matsumoto, both of Honolulu, Donald (Carol) Matsumoto of Maui; sisters, Jane Osako of Honokaa, Yoshie (Alex) Okada of Waimea, Hideko (James) Miyashiro, Alice (Henry) Nakahodo and Arline Matsumoto, all of Honolulu; two grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
