Francisca “Norma” Villaluz Alonzo, 61, of Hilo died May 24, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born March 9, 1952, in Padong, Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a Factory Worker for Diamond Head Papaya in Keaau and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. June 28 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel for a 7 p.m. wake servic. Friends may also call at 11 a.m. June 29 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a noon Mass. Burial follows at 1 p.m. at Homelani Memorial Park at 1 p.m. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.
She is survived by husband, Ruben Alonzo of Hilo; son, Bryan Alonzo of Hilo; sisters, Clarita (Saturnino) Rosqueta of Philippines, Presilla Andre of Hilo, Cristy Villaluz of Singapore; brothers, Manny (Sally Castillo) Villaluz of Hilo, Cosme Villaluz Jr. and Carlou Villaluz, both of Philippines; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
