Joe Tsugimi Okimura, 83, of Hilo died May 30, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Jan. 16, 1930, in Hilo, he was a retired ticket agent for Hawaiian Airlines and member of Kapualani Street Kumiai.
Private services were held. No flowers. Family requests no monetary gifts.
He is survived by sons, Gavin Okimura of Hilo, Talbot Okimura of California; daughters, Darrel Okimura of Kailua-Kona, Stacy Okimura of Hilo; sister, Evelyn Kondo of Hilo; numerous nephews and nieces.
