Jared Eugene Crosby Jr., 65, of Keaau died April 29, 2013. Born April 7, 1948, in Terre Haute, Ind., was an artist and a glass blower.

Francisco Camero
Francisco “Pedring” “Frank” Q. Camero, 92 of Pepeekeo died June 11, 2013, at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born Jan. 5, 1921, in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, he was a retired journeyman automotive and diesel mechanic for the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. co-owner of AC (Antonio and Camero) Service Station in the old Pepeekeo Mill Camp, member of the Pepeekeo Senior Citizen and Pepeekeo Filipino Association and a eucharistic minister and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. June 23 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 6 p.m. wake service. Friends may also call at 9 a.m. June 24 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial follows at Homelani Memorial Park (Ilima Section). Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.
He is survived by wife, Margarita Camero of Pepeekeo; sons, Jamie (Claire) Camero of Pepeekeo, Rudy (Bernie) Camero of Hilo, Franklin (Nancy) Camero of Las Vegas, John (Chris Gomera) Camero of Mountain View; daughters, Elizabeth Antida of San Mateo, Calif., Judy (Howard) Shimabukuro of Hilo; sister, Petra Cabatu of Pepeekeo; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

Jerry Hiroyuki Nunogawa, 72, of Hilo died June 17, 2013, at Castle Medical Center in Kailua, Oahu. Born April 17, 1941, in Honolulu, he was a City and County of Honolulu civil engineer; a state environmental engineer in Hilo; a federal public health engineer in Alaska, New Mexico, South Dakota, Washington state and Washington, D.C.; a deacon and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo and an Army veteran.
Friends may call at 8:30 a.m. June 24 at St. Joseph Catholic Church for a 10:30 a.m. Mass. Additional services will be held on Oahu at a later date. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.
He is survived by wife, Rosemary Nunogawa of Hilo; sons, Matthew (Nao) Nunogawa of San Mateo, Calif., Nicholas Nunogawa of Philadelphia; brothers, James (Arlene) Nunogawa and Joe (Alice) Nunogawa, both of Honolulu; sister, Karen Sakata of Mililani, Oahu; two grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.

Vivian Aiko Tamashiro, 83, of Mountain View died June 17, 2013, at her home. Born Aug. 16, 1929, in Honomu, she was retired from Hawaiian Flower Export and member of New Hope Christian Fellowship-Volcano and Mountain View Senior Citizens.

Harvey Kain
Harvey Lenus Kain, 87, of Papaikou died May 11, 2013, at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born July 3, 1925, in East Donegal, Pa., he was a retired tire man at Theo H. Davies and the sugar plantation and member, deacon, lay reader and janitor at Central Christian Church in Hilo.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. June 26 at Central Christian Church in Hilo for an 11 a.m. service. Urn burial follows at noon at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.
He is survived by wife, Lucille Kain of Papaikou; daughter, Sue Messer of Florida; stepdaughters, Peggy Liborio of Papaikou, Florence Puaa of Hilo; stepsons, Norman Liborio of Papaikou, Gordon Liborio of Hilo; brother, James (Shirley) Kain of Pennsylvania; sisters, Georgina Grube, and Barbara (Lloyd) Bradley, all of Pennsylvania; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.

William Pau Chun Chow, 77, of Pahoa died June 3, 2013, at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired rancher with Hanaipoe Ranch.
