Haruo Kajiyama

Haruo Kajiyama, 98, of Pahala died June 8, 2013. Born in Kapoho, he was a retired service truck helper.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. June 20 at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home for a 10 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire and no flowers.

He is survived by spouse, Akie Kajiyama of Pahala; sons, Norman Kajiyama and Bert (Grace) Kajiyama, both of Honolulu; daughter, Cheryl (Nilton) Matayoshi of Honolulu; brother, Goro (Eiko) Kajiyama of Pahoa; three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Yvonne Erickson

Yvonne “Blondie” Elizabeth Kealoha Boyd Erickson, 85, of Kailua-Kona and Kailua, Oahu, died June 5, 2013, at her son’s residence. Born in Honolulu, she was retired from state Department of Education.

Friends may call from noon to 4 p.m. June 22 at the Kona Outdoor Circle in Kailua-Kona for a service. Inurnment is at 11 a.m. June 25 at the Hawaii Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Kaneohe, Oahu.

She is survived by son, Brian (Terrilee) Erickson; daughter, Michelle McConnell; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Abra King

Abra Jane King, 94, of Keaau died June 10, 2013, at her residence. Born Oct. 10, 1918, in Portland, Ore., she was a bank clerk at Lloyd’s Bank in California.

She is survived by daughter, Judy David of Keaau; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
